As a Sydney based Handmade Designer with over 19 years design and sewing experience, I am passionate about creating beautiful Soft Toys, Patchwork Quilts and Crochet delights which stand the test of time, and be treasured for lifetime.

Giggle Spot Designs gifts are ideal for all the special occasions celebrated in your child's life. My products are perfect for newborn babies, toddlers, older children and 'big kids' too who are always young at heart.

Handmade Soft Toys

All my Soft Toys are designed and made by me. (A mum with four kids who have a keen eye of my creations.) All the Soft Toys are made with child-friendly materials and are 100% safe for babies and young children, and are 100% ok for grown ups to adopt as well.

I like to use  quality quilting fabrics, flannel and minkie fabrics on my toys and pure woollen-felts. I love the 'handmade touch' on many of my creations and love to spend my time hand-stitching the features  on my toys to create unique personalities for them.

Over the years I have designed hundreds of Soft Toys and I am constantly designing new products on a weekly basis, so I have Soft Toys which are ready to go home to you today available on this Website and you can also order Soft Toys which can bee custom designed for you. You choose the colours and fabrics and that way you get exactly what you are after.

Handmade Patchwork Quilts

Patchwork Quilts  make beautiful gifts which will be treasured keepsakes for a lifetime. The sizes of my Quilts range from Bassinet size for Newborn Babies, Snuggle Quilts, Play Quilts to Pram sized Quilts for mums and bubs on the go.

If you are after something special for a Christening, First Birthday, or a Quilt for a Toddler's first bed you will find them here too. I also make Cot and Large Throw Quilts. The largest Patchwork Quilts I generally make would cover 3/4 of a single sized bed. If you are after a Patchwork Quilt larger then this please contact me to discuss.

All my Quilts are made with 100% cotton quality quilting fabric. I love to use a mix of prints in my Quilts which range from Vintage, Retro, 1930's Prints, Japanese Designs and Contemporary Designs. Some Quilts may have appliqued designs on them which are hand-stitched. My Quilts are always finished with attention to detail with machine-quilting,  Some Quilts have hand-quilting too.

Individual pricing of my Quilts is based on the quantity of fabric used, amount of cutting and sewing involved, time taken to hand applique designs, the size of the Quilt and the amount of machine quilting and hand quilting involved.
